It has been a month since we all gathered in Junction for fun, fellowship and education at our TTFHA Spring Convention. While Spring Rendezvous is usually somewhat smaller than Fall; this one had great attendance, vendors and demos. The parking lot was full both days, as were the bleachers. It is a good problem to have when there is a need to set up chairs for additional seating.
The weather was in our favor, but having the demo area indoors was a nice change for Junction. Also, the addition of the instructors wearing a wireless microphone allowed people to hear more effectively. A thanks goes out to Jay Krottinger, our Dist. 1 Director, and his crew for setting up a top notch demo habitat. We would also like to thank the demo presenters that traveled, whether it be hours or days on the road to come visit. We hope they enjoyed their time and will consider coming to see us again.
A big THANK YOU to all of our donors. The money from the antlers keeps growing as both quality and quantity of the donations increases. It appears that the highlight of the auction this Spring was food and decor.
Lastly, we would like to thank members and spectators that attended. We gained new members from all over the state and a few from out of state that trap here. It is always a pleasure to meet new faces and get to know them.
Start making plans to attend Brownwood in October and keep an eye on the conventions page for updates to be posted as they are develop.
